D.I.Y Breakfast Quiche Cups!

Hello everyone! For this week’s D.I.Yes or No I tried out some breakfast quiche cups! I found the recipe online and they seemed yummy and easy enough so I decided to give them a go. For the ingredients I used; 3 eggs, milk, salt and pepper, unions, Swiss cheese, ham and Pam oil spray. First I got a 6-cup cupcake sheet and sprayed a generous amount of Pam in each cup to ensure nothing would stick to the pan. Next I mixed the 3 eggs, milk, unions, salt and pepper in a small bowl with a whisk until there were no chunks. After the egg center was made I laid a piece of turkey in each cup to line them and poured the egg into the cup. Once the cup was full I places the Swiss cheese on top of each individual cup and put them in the oven at 350 F for 25 minutes!

Once the breakfast quiche cups were done cooking I let them sit outside of the oven for 10 minutes to make sure the egg had hardened in order to safely remove the cups from the pan. After removing the cups from the pan I served them to my family with ketchup and they were a success! They were extremely tasty and there was almost no mess to clean up. I would recommend the D.I.Y breakfast quiche cups to anyone wanting to make a quick, simple, exciting breakfast and consider them a D.I.Yes!

D.I.Y Kylie Jenner Lip Tutorial!

Hello everyone!

Valentine's Day is just around the corner so for today's D.I.Yes or No I have decided to try out a Kylie Jenner lip tutorial to possibly wear out for that special night. I found the tutorial on Chrisspy’s YouTube channel at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jwixvFKCyOE. For this lip tutorial I used EOS lip balm to prime my lips, Boldly Bare lip liner by MAC, Shy Shine lipstick also by MAC and to make a matte finish I used a translucent powder on top of the lipstick.

The D.I.Y Kylie Jenner lip tutorial video was very easy to follow and really worked! In the video Chrisspy had a full face of make up on and covered her lips in foundation and powder also. Since I had no make up on my face I decided to skip this step. I first primed my lips with lip chap to ensure my lips would not dry out with the application of the lip liner. Then I lined my lips with the liner as Chrisspy instructed, on line at the sides, over the top in the center and filled in the everywhere except the center of my lips. After the liner I applied the lipstick all over and covered them in translucent powder to get the matte finish. Viola! Kylie Jenner lips made simple.

The D.I.Y Kylie Jenner lip tutorial is a definite D.I.Yes! I am no make-up artist and it was very easy so i recommend you all try it at home for yourself, it’s definitely a fun look to have those big full lips you’ve always wanted!

DIY Super Bowl Football Field Dip!

Hello D.I.Yers!

I hope everyone had a great week and enjoyed Super Bowl Sunday! I know you all must have been trying out various Super Bowl inspired D.I.Ys this weekend and I did too! For this week’s D.I.Yes or No I made a Super Bowl inspired football field chip dip! I found the instructions on Rosanna Pansino’s YouTube channel at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7htlSbB8Dok. I tried to follow the tutorial fully but I only had so much time to make the dip between work and the Super Bowl party so I had to overlook some of the ingredients. First, got a deep pan longer than it is wide to put the dip in. Then I took a pre-made bean dip and put it at the bottom of the pan, followed by a layer of sour cream, a layer of cheese, a layer of pre-made salsa and a large layer of pre-made guacamole. Once I had the core layers in the pan I put salsa at either end of the pan to make “end-zones”, put sour cream in a plastic bag with a hole in the corner and piped on field lines and then finally put the whole dip dish into a larger circular dish filled with tortilla chips to imitate the “stadium”. Although I made some simplifications overall this D.I.Y was fun, easy, quick and enjoyed by all! I would say the D.I.Y Super Bowl inspired football field chip dip was a DIYes and would recommend it to anyone for a Super Bowl party next year or even just a football party they might attend!
